Dharmendra prasad is an initiator of aesthetic responses in public spaces, community spaces and beyond.

My practice embedded in notion of space and seen objects. I exercise to create provocative space with the collective cultural experience. I play with the preconceived ideas about community . I break and arrange the space, seen objects, cultural experience and preconceived ideas ; then I keep on breaking and rearranging to blur the boundaries between the art object and art practice. My site used to be the two rivers - Ganga and Bramhaputra - contours of land and water.

Drawings , paintings, temporary sculptures, specific sitesx, installations, photo performances, and videos are my tools. I make drawings , paintings, temporary sculptures, specific site , installations, photo performances, and videos by using hay, mud, water, human body, bamboo, attire, pigments, cow-dung and the sites where I find these materials.

I practice to go back and forth with narratives and memoir.I practice because I left the village, I practice because I am empty, I practice , because I want to aestheticize my narratives and memoir . Thus , archaeology and aesthetic help me to juxtapose my landscape, studio , gallery space, viewer, collaborator and audiences.
